Khatu Shyam Mandir

Khatu Shyam Temple is a Hindu temple situated in Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh. It is a pilgrimage site for worshipping the deity Krishna and Barbarika, often venerated as Shyam Baba. Devotees believe the temple houses the head of Barbarika or Khatu-Shyam, a legendary warrior who sacrificed his head upon Krishna's request during the antebellum of the Kurukshetra War.

Hanuman Setu

Hanuman Setu Temple is a Hanuman temple on the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow. Developed by Neem Karoli Baba, this temple has been under construction for decades, making it a revered site for devotees seeking the blessings of Lord Hanuman.

Hanumant Dham

Hanumant Dham boasts over one lakh sculptures of Lord Hanuman, making it a unique destination for devotees. The temple also features statues of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, and other Hindu deities.

Gomeshwar Temple (Island Temple)

The Gomeshwar Mahadev temple is located in the middle of the Gomti River in Lucknow. Devotees reach here by boat. Built in 1931, the temple was originally on the riverbank but was later surrounded by water when the British redirected the river to prevent floods.

Mankameshwar Temple

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Mankameshwar Temple is about 1000 years old and one of the most ancient shrines in Lucknow. It is under the jurisdiction of Jagath Guru Shankaracharya and was the first temple to appoint a woman priest, Arunima Singh, who was later christened as Mahant Devaigya Puri.
