Deepotsav

Deepotsav 2022 : October 23, 2022 Ayodhya is aesthetically lined up to host the much-awaited grand festival of the year – Deepotsav 2022! This year, in Deepotsav, around 19 lakh diyas will illuminate the holy city, with 15 lakh of them being lit on Ram ki Paidi, the ghat of Maa Saryu. We are ready to break the world records yet again with the power and count of its diyas. It’s the time of the year to spread positivity, peace, hope and power. Lord Ram will soon be arriving, the city will lighten up. Deepotsav is in the rising.

Ganga Mahotsav

The ambience of Ganga Mahotsav blended with the symphonies of cultural programs on the bank of Holy Ganga is an experience which can’t be explained in words. Doyens of classical music performing in tandem with the musical tides imprint this celestial experience on one’s soul forever.

Ganga Mahotsav also offers one of most comprehensive window to the world of Handicrafts. A 10-days Craft Bazar (National Craft Fair) is organized at Urban Haat, Sanskritik Sankul, Chowka Ghat in which artisans from more than 20 states of India participate to showcase their exquisite Handicrafts. It is a platform where buyers directly interact with the producers.

Dev Deepawali is an illuminating moment on the closing day of Ganga Mahotsav may rightly be called as pinnacle of the event. Millions of earthen lamps (Diyas) floating on the holy water, aroma of mesmerizing incense and the sacred chants make you believe that you are in heaven, witnessing a celestial happening.

Apart from the above salient features Ganga Marathon, traditional sports, Country boat-race, Wrestling (Indian Style) etc. are also organized during Ganga Mahotsav.
