What is it all about
Bandhavgarh National Park, located in the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh, is one of India's most renowned wildlife sanctuaries. The landscape of Bandhavgarh is diverse, featuring steep ridges, undulating forests, and open meadows, creating a rich and varied habitat that supports a wide range of wildlife. Bandhavgarh is particularly famous for its population of Royal Bengal Tigers. The park has the highest density of tigers not only in India but also globally, making it a prime destination for tiger sightings. Historically, this area served as the hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Rewa. It is closely associated with White Tigers, as the first White Tiger was discovered near Rewa, close to Bandhavgarh.
