Millions of earthen lamps (Diyas) floating on the holy water, aroma of mesmerizing incense and the sacred chants make you believe that you are in heaven, witnessing a celestial happening.

Apart from the above salient features Ganga Marathon, traditional sports, Country boat-race, Wrestling (Indian Style) etc. are also organized during Ganga Mahotsav.
