The Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh introduces “Star Classification System” for approval of Star Classification of Operational
Hotels and Resorts with the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The objective of introducing “Star Classifications System” by Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh is
to promote Qualitative and Contemporary standards of facilities and services within the Hotel & Resort Industry of
the state at par with national standards similar to the standards of Hotels and Resorts that have obtained “Star
Classification Status” from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
